Lipiflow is a treatment for those suffering from dry eye syndrome. It focuses on one of the leading causes of dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). When these glands stop producing their lipids (natural oils), the tear film becomes inconsistent, or sometimes nonexistent, and begins to dry out the eye.

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is an eye condition that makes distance objects blurry, while near objects remain clear.  Myopia is easily correctable by spectacles and contact lenses, and most people can get by quite easily with these options.

Orthokeratology (Ortho-k for short) is the use of specially designed contact lenses that are worn over-night to correct vision. In the morning the lenses are removed, and vision is corrected for 1-2 days, allowing people to be spectacle-free for that period of time.
